Thursday, May 15th was an exciting night for the team at Tacit Innovations as maegan™ launched at The Beertown Public House in Cambridge. Beertown is one of the first restaurants in North America to bring the “in-restaurant”smartphone ordering experience to the people!

Beertown Public House owner says he has seen many apps before, but maegan™ is different. “We like the platform and the vision. In a tech town like Waterloo Region, it only makes sense to use technology that will allow our patrons to order from their smart phones, and pay for it on Bitcoin,”says Jody Palubiski, Charcoal Restaurant Owner and CEO.

The launch at Beertown was the perfect way to celebrate our collaboration and bring the “power to the people.” Thank you to everyone who attended the launch and ordered from the mobile in restaurant menu for the first time!

The collaboration means a lot to us at maegan™. Cris Jucan, maegan™ CEO says, “we are thrilled to be launching at a second Charcoal restaurant.” The app made its debut at Waterloo’sBauer Kitchen in February, 3 months ago.

Cambridge’s Beertown Public House is located at 1A-561 Hespeler Road and is now accepting dine-in and takeout orders through maegan™. The app is available to download for iPhone, Blackberry, and Android users.
